This morning my dad called me to ask if I wanted to have lunch with my mom. My dad is so cute. He is coming down to the South Bay next week and asked if I were free. I was thinking maybe both he and my mom would want to have lunch with me, but he's too busy hanging out with his own friends (he's VERY SAD to be retiring in 3 days). So, instead, he arranges a "date" for me and my mom, sharing his insight that he thinks its important to have some separate mother-daughter time. He said he'll drop my mom off and then pick her up after he's done with lunch.
BTW, in case you were wondering, my mom and I have a very good and relationship :) But I do look forward to hanging out with her. I think we'll work on our wii fit hula hooping :)
